Songs from across the table.

La Plume de ma Tante is Björn Lundberg’s French-language project within Lundberg Selection. Its debut album, Ils sont partis avant le fromage, follows the guests at a wedding after the newlyweds’ unexpected departure.

Close female and male voices pass the story between them. Guitar, bass, piano and percussion leave room for breath, silence and a humour that often turns on a word arriving just a little late.

Lyrics and compositions are by Björn Lundberg. The recordings were made with assistance from Suno. The illustrations extend the songs’ scenes; they do not depict the members of the group.
